Filling your Mastery Meter gives you Mastery Rewards
For each area you must fill the bar all the way to the far right of your meter 3 times (once for each star/reward.) With each star level the foes in that area get tougher to fight.
When you are done, the 3 stars will remain on your meter bar and each foe will reset back to their original stats only after you knock them down one more time so they can come back as their past form.
